Name: Asha (means 'life')
Age: 2
Gender: Female
Description:
Personality: Asha is just like her name; full of life. Even in the darkest times she looks on the cheery side of life. She is quite skittish around male cheetahs and elephants. Asha is playful and is more likely to be seen chasing her own tail than lazing around in the sun. She can speak a night away if comfortable with ones around her but doesn't talk that much around those that she doesn't trust. You can win her trust quickly if you use the right words and body languge. Asha is a skillful hunter, possibly one fo the best in the area.
History: Asha was raised well, by a female on perhaps her last legs. She knew hardly any fear throughout her childhood except for one thing; her father. Asha was constantly theatened by her father all his life. She grew to be scared of males and probably always will be.
One day in the dry season a thing happened that Asha will always remember, when she's young or old. Asha was 1 year old then and was showing her motehr the progress she had made in hunting. Her father tagged along, slinking behind them. They came upon a herd of elephants and Asha was terrified by their bulk. Her father, ever trying to prove himself, strutted forward. Her mother tried to stop him but he paid no heed.
It seemed like hours to Asha but in reality it was minutes. One proud cheetah, ione angry elephant mother and a span of steps between them. A reciepe for disaster. The elephant raised it's huge foot angrily, trying to protect ehr calf. Asha's father didn't take any notice and ran right under it. Suddenly the foot struck down with a crash, flattening the male cheetah. He was dead.
Asha lived on, but has been terrified of elephants since.

A dark shape flitted in and out of view as it moved swiftly through the thick bushes around the camp. A blink and you would miss it. Suddenly it came to a stop and lay down. It was a large black tom cat. He was panting slightly and seemed exhausted. Extradionarily long tail swung angrily. The tom sighed and washed his paw. He ignored the sour taste of the dirt and instead kept a close eye on his surrondings. Finishing his wash the tom stayed absoulty still. Emerald eyes were slitted but alert.
The black 'shadow' stayed like this for several minutes, but finally, as if sure that all was well moved off again. His paws made shallow marks in the muddy ground. He seemd intent to stay hidden, even though the bushes proved good cover, his jet black fur helping him blend into the shadows. But still he kept looking round and moving quickly. His fast walk soon geared up to a lope. He ran and ran, tirelessly.
The bushes soon grew thinner and thinner until they died out completly. Here the large black body panicked a little and the legs moved faster until he was just a blur of black. Little by little the bushes came nearer and nearer. When at last he reached them he was little more than at a state of collapsing. He sunk down and panted.
Sure, this wasn't what he usually did, but why was it so hard? Yeah, just running wasn't the hard bit, it was the endless running and staying hidden. So much for today if she found him. For she was the reason for this long trek. He wasn't usually like this. The worst that could happen was if someone found him in this sorry state.
The tom cat shifted and a twig snapped with a huge crack! He stood as still as a statue. If someone found him he could do nothing about it.
